CLASSICAL BALLET
This class introduces students to the foundations of classical ballet and allows students to build on their knowledge and skills as they grow. Ballet is a beautiful art form that requires dedication and discipline on the part of the student. Ballet training is an excellent form of exercise for all ages, toning and strengthening the entire body and helping to increase flexibility, coordination and proper posture.
POINTE
Pointe work is an extension of Classical Ballet offered to students who have achieved a level of strength required.
TAP
Tap is a form of dance that allows the dancer's body to be used as a rhythm instrument through intricate footwork, syncopated sounds and stylized movement.
JAZZ
Jazz is an expressive style of dance that blends current musical and dance trends with performance dance that is seen on television and the Broadway stage.
LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY
This class focuses on the basics of contemporary dance technique. Students will explore expression and abstract concepts in dance performance as well as weight, momentum and gravity used in dance.
HIP HOP
This class offers a structured way of learning the basics of Hip Hop street dance movements in a fun and vibrant environment.
DANCER'S STRETCH AND CONDITIONING
Classes will focus on strengthening and stretching the body specifically geared for dancers.
PRE-BALLET / TAP
This is an introductory class for our youngest students. Students will learn body awareness, beginning ballet and tap steps as well as correct terminology and the joy of moving to music.
TAP/JAZZ COMBO
